HNS: Feast of San Vicente Ferrer
0April 2011 -- It was a warm welcome, so to speak. An hour ride from Alabang to San Vicente, Batangas Philippines. It's the feast day of St. Vincent Ferrer (a.k.a. San Vicente Ferrer), we and my friend went to join the fun.
It was a bright sunny morning, along the road we see this welcome signage at the side of the streets. Theres the marching bands, parade and kids are everywhere. It's a jam packed ride and foods flooding.
A great weather isn't it, the beautiful clouds says it aloud. The sun is smiling at us with a twist of the sweet kiss of the breeze.
After a few hours of eating and walking around we went into an amusement park,"Perya" and this Ferris Wheel ride caught my attention. Vibrant colors, Lovely!
We went across and drop by the church to pray, many devotees are there to have their penitence. It is a belief that it can cure sickness, some of the kids are dressed like St. Vincent Ferrer.
a view of the parking lot outside the Archdiocese of St. Vicente Ferrer. It's pretty crowded on the road next to it.
Before finishing the day, we went to go swimming. This rock formation did attract my eyes and make me feel like theres something beneath those stones. It looks good though.
An old tree inside the resort. The inner core of the three shouts like "I'm beautiful!" and made me even more likely appreciate how beautiful nature is.
